Performance Management is a process that provides feedback, accountability, and documentation for performance outcomes. It helps employees to channel their talents toward organizational goals.

In this course, you will learn how to set up a performance management system, how to conduct a performance evaluation, and how to motivate employees to be the best they can be.

Course Format

This course has four modules. For each module, you will be given questions and an assignment so you can put what you learned into practice. Each module has a quiz to see how much information you retained from the material (the quizzes are not worth marks).

The Coaching and Feedback section has questions but no assignment. When you have completed all the modules, you will be given a final test.

Upon successful completion, participants will be able to prepare a Performance Management Plan/Outline that encompasses all parts of the Performance Management wheel, including:

Planning;
Goal setting;
Ongoing performance;
Feedback;
Evaluation.

Competencies:

Participants will compare traditional and modern performance management styles.
Participants will align performance management with organizational goals.
Participants will evaluate employee performance and provide feedback.
Participants will identify the 4 key areas of developing, monitoring, and maintaining, modern performance management within the workplace.
