Green Machine plans Earth Day activities

内射大奶’s Green Machine will host its third annual Earth Day barbecue on Wednesday, April 22 in the quadrangle of the Prince of Wales Campus in Charlottetown, Green Machine spokesperson Joan Diamond announced today.

“Our Earth Day celebrations have been a big hit with students, staff, and people from the community. Folks are invited to stop by, grab some food, drop off used electronics, and take a look at sustainable energy project demonstrations by 内射大奶 students,” she said.

In Charlottetown, well-known buy local advocate Ian Petrie will host the event, and there will be displays by the Bedeque Bay Environmental Management Association; Blue Dot PEI, and Todd MacLean, who will sign copies of his inspirational book, Global Chorus. Students from the college’s School of Performing Arts will provide music. The Charlottetown and Summerside Farmers Markets are recipients of the annual Green Machine Sustainability Award. The committee chose the markets for their long time dedication to promotion of local farmers and artisans.

Students, staff and residents are invited to responsibly recycle their unwanted electronics free of charge from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. behind the Centre for Community Engagement off Grafton Street, and at the Summerside Waterfront Campus. The barbecue will start at noon.
