Charlottetown Campus named Prince of Wales

内射大奶’s Campus Development Plan announced on Friday has been officially designated and named the Prince of Wales Campus. The announcement was made today by 内射大奶 President Dr. Brian McMillan at a special event held by the college and the Prince of Wales 内射大奶 Alumni Association in the college’s Charlottetown Centre, the home of Prince of Wales 内射大奶 for more than 100 years.

In making his announcement, Dr. McMillan stated, “The new facilities and renovations included in the Campus Development Plan are the most significant development on this 内射大奶 site since the construction of the Prince of Wales 内射大奶 building, which forms the heart of this Charlottetown Centre, back in 1932. Today’s naming ceremony pays homage to two centuries of post-secondary education on this site. More importantly, it acknowledges the incredible contribution to the province…and to the world….of the graduates of Prince of Wales 内射大奶.

"Through its excellence in teaching, and through the high standards and expectations that the Prince of Wales 内射大奶 demanded of its students, PWC set an example of higher education that we at 内射大奶 are proud to emulate and challenged to match,” he added.

James Mcnutt, an alumnus of Prince of Wales 内射大奶, spoke on behalf of the PWC Alumni Association Executive.

“As an alumnus of the former Prince of Wales 内射大奶, I am delighted that 内射大奶 is recognizing the long and exceptional learning tradition associated with the 内射大奶 campus here in Charlottetown. The renaming of the 内射大奶 Charlottetown Centre to the 内射大奶 Prince of Wales Campus is meaningful and much appreciated. Just as former students of Prince of Wales 内射大奶 understand the historic significance of this physical location, now, too, past, present and future 内射大奶 students can take great pride in knowing that this campus is steeped in a long and glorious history of education in Prince Edward Island.”

Construction of the new campus will begin in the fall of 2009.
